Pippa Hughes designs footwear and accessories for commercial production, and fashion inspired illustration. Pippa also runs shoemaking workshops in schools, which focus on re-using and recycling.

Footwear and Accessories Design

Fashion forecasting, concept and production design and development, factory specifications and CAD presentation boards, (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator) for footwear and accessories, to suit your requirements.

Women's footwear and accessories product areas:
o Fashion and formal Day
o Evening/Occasion (to include embroidery and embellishment design)
o Casual and sports casual: leather/synthetic
o High Summer and Beach (screen-print design and artwork available)
o Slippers

Illustration

Illustration for fashion accessories and stationery: inspired by shoes and handbags, fashion, archive and vintage finds, nature and travel. Mixed media, to include: hand drawn images, photos and using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Workshops

Pippa runs a range of workshops in schools and colleges based on her commercial experience of the footwear industry.

Creative shoemaking workshops:
o Practical workshops where students learn how to design, pattern-cut and make shoes on a commercial shoe last (shoe form)
o Re-using and recycling paper and other waste materials

Adobe Photoshop workshops to compliment students' project work:
o Create mood boards
o Create a design board by rendering hand drawn designs with colour and scanned textures

Creative and Media Diploma: Footwear subject area
o Footwear workshops and projects based on Pippa's commercial experience in the footwear industry
